I-GRIND's chamber rotates, but the bottom remains stationary while the material is fed over the hammer mill. The chamber's rotation speed is set by the operator. When the chamber rotates with the material, the setting can be overridden by the hammer mill
The operator adjusts the chamber's rotation speed on the machine using a simple rotary knob. Afterward, the machine's setting can be changed from 0 to the preset speed using a wireless remote control.
If the hammer mill's rotation speed drops below 1,800 rpm, the chamber's rotation speed decreases or stops completely until the hammer mill regains speed. This prevents overload and operational halts.
When the I-GRIND's grain insert (option) is mounted, the hydraulic power is directed from the chamber to the grain insert's feed screw, which also slows down/stops if the hammer mill loses speed
